September 17, 2026: first publication
The Seattle deck ranges went live, each built from published local contractor prices:
- Composite deck, installed: $40–$75 per sq ft
- Cedar deck, installed: $34–$45 per sq ft
- New deck, any material, installed: $40–$110 per sq ft
- Removing an old deck: $3–$8 per sq ft
There are no earlier versions. The current figures are always in the deck cost guide.
What gets logged here?
Every change to a range: the old figure, the new one and the date it changed. Corrections are logged the same way. How these prices are compiled explains where the figures come from.
